How It Works

From booking to bragging rights.

Your first visit takes about a minute to plan. Here is exactly how a night at the Hub unfolds.

1

Reserve your table

Pick a date and how many are coming. Tables seat two to eight, and weekends fill fast — a two-minute booking locks in your spot.

2

Meet your Game Guide

A resident Guide greets you at the door, learns what your group enjoys, and pulls three or four perfect matches off the library wall.

3

Play & learn

We teach the rules in plain English, keep the snacks and drinks coming, and check in whenever you fancy trying something new.

4

Level up

Loved it? Join the club, climb the tournament ladder, and earn loyalty stamps toward free table time and hobby store credit.

We booked a table for six and left four hours later already planning our next visit. Our Guide taught us Wingspan in minutes and the marigold-lit room is gorgeous.

The Thursday Catan ladder is the highlight of my week. Friendly competition, great coffee, and the staff genuinely know every game on the wall.

Took my two teenagers to the painting bar and they were hooked. A$12 each, all the paints supplied, and someone patient enough to show them the layering technique.

Bookings & Pricing

Table time is A$8 per person per hour, and that includes access to our full 800-title library and a Game Guide to teach anything you like. Children under 12 play at half price when accompanied by an adult.

Walk-ins are always welcome, but Friday and Saturday evenings book out days in advance. We recommend reserving online for any group of four or more, especially on weekends and public holidays.

We open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to midnight, and Sunday from 11am to 9pm. The hobby store keeps the same hours as the lounge.

At the Lounge

Absolutely — most of our visitors are casual players. Our Game Guides specialise in matching newcomers to approachable games and teaching the rules without the jargon. You will be playing confidently within minutes.

Yes. We hire out the mezzanine for groups of up to twenty, with a dedicated Guide, reserved tables and catering options from the kitchen. Get in touch at least a week ahead so we can plan the perfect night.

Our kitchen serves share plates, toasties and West End roasted coffee, plus local craft beer and wine for over-18s. All food is spill-safe and served on trays that fit neatly beside the board.
